weird mouserate results

Hi!

I have a Razer DiamondBack and Iam using it @ 500hz. Since I am using Windows XP x64 I had to change the usbport.sys @ system32/drivers because I couldn't find a program for x64 that makes it instead of me (e.g. mouserate changer).
When I run mouserate checker and I move my mouse it gives me very weird results, like 499 - 500 - 501 - 480 - 620 - 499 - 500 - 615 etc, etc.
I heard this mouserate checker is not trustworthy tho. Anyone has the same problem ?
If there is any better program to check my mouse rate, pls give!
Thanks
Cya!

try setting the usb ports to default, (not 125hz, just default) and plug your mouse into another usb port.
My usb ports are different tbh, with some I can load my mp3s twice as fast onto my creative.

Thank me later.
i'll do it later and i'll give feedback

nvm got it

I can't see shit with this program because it draws only the last pixels or what.
Can't decide if it goes over 500 or not

btw, you need to do those checkings in safe mode if i remember correctly

force it to single core @ process affinity options and check again
well, it's a calculation error connected with OS process management most likely anyway, these apps are only trying to measure the rate which is way more stable than it's shown

The one in my ftp work perfect.
If the port is set to 500 hz it's physically impossible, so it's an error.
