Featherweight Virtual Machine

Does anyone know some alternative to the featherweight virtual machine?

Its a lil bit old, so I am searching an alternative...open source is a must!

Is this just a virtual machine or does it have any specials?

its a virtual machine for a single application (like a sandbox), no virtual machine like virtualbox vmware and so on

the special thing is that it works on windows. all similar software I found was for *nix
