Mouse mats!?!?!

Hello crossfire!

After wishing Hungary BoRi happy birthday I'd like to hear your oppinoin, this time about mouse mats!

I had 3 different mousepads so far, Razer Matis Speed, Speed-Link BattlePad and a SteelSeries QcK+.
I liked Speed-Link BattlePad the best, it's made of plastic. I used it with my old G5 and it was perfect for a laser mouse. Texil mousemats suck.
Since I am playing without mousemat for a while now and my desk started to get shabby I am looking for a new mousemat.
Is there any good plastic mousemats? Size around 300x300 or bigger.
I am currently using Razer DiamondBack

Awsome Pad.. used Goliathus Control @ midsize..
Now Qck+..

Result.. i like(d) my Razer Goliathus way more.


If i will have money i'll buy Goliathus Control Big sized.
The surface is pretty robust/hard..
So i would check it out.. even it is a Texil pad..

It's pretty rough.. which makes you feel abit the mouse when gliding.
4mm, best thickness - 2mm too thin.. >4mm is to thick imo.
Will long-life pad.
Works awsome together with my Razer Deathadder.

The only negative thing i would say is that it has on the renders parts which stick out abit.


Conclusion: I will use Deathadder + Razer Goliathus Control forever.. and wont change it, as it is a sick combi.
-> using Qck+ instead Goliathus has proven it.


So i can fully recommend it.

qpad and roccat sense are cloth pads with almost zero friction. comes close to a plastic pad if you askme

qpad is the king of static friction which gets worse and worse every day
sense is lol, too thin and not grippy enough -> moving around the table like mad
