Mediaplayer

Hi there,

I want to watch all my downloaded movies/series on my television. I don't have a laptop so my best/cheapest solution is to buy a mediaplayer.

What are my demands?
- It has to be wireless since I don't have the possibility to work with a cable.
- It should work 'silent' so that I don't get annoyed by the noise of the fan while watching a movie.
- It has to be able to stream 720p movies (WIRELESS)

It does need to have other functions than play my movies that I have on my pc :)

Any suggestions? Buying a PS3 or a xbox360 is that also a solution cause afaik they are also capable to stream movies from my pc right?

i have a program called vuze its basicly a torrent program that searches all the websites for you, then it has a feature where u can stream movies too your xbox in HD. i do that to my 32 inch tv. works great :)

sounds good, how does it work tho? .. do u need any extra cables?

If you have the wireless adapter for the Xbox you don't need anything, and Vuze automatically finds your Xbox so you dont have to mess around with setings Just drag and drop the movie :D

i'd recommend you to take ps3. it's pretty nice piece of hardware and i use it for this kind of stuff, playing games barely and that's its main role...it also got bluray player and all other shizzle.all you need is ps3 media software to stream over pc.
