phpmyadmin install?

I would like to buy a shell where i got SSH access but it wont have any interface installed.

How can i install phpmyadmin ?
Also i would need an interface so i can add my domain, add mails & forwardings for that domain, have an overview of how much space is used, traffic,... can someone recommend me smth and tell me how to install it?

Just buy a VPS and learn everything from scratch. It's really easy and fun, and overall it's pretty cheap aswell.

You can host like 10-20 shells, a ET server and a ventrilo server for like 20-40$ each month.

In the long run it's better :)

You can even get VPS for like 3$ per week.

Well, as for phpmyadmin what skooli said.

As for interface, well... if you only buy a shell, it's up to your hoster to offer such an interface. AFAIK, just having a shell doesn't mean you can do stuff like that (i.e. domains and mails)... So yeah, you'd have to ask there I guess?

ups i just qryed you on irc but u seem to be offline.

well i would buy the shell from shellhosting.nu but they only offer plain shell access..

so there is no way i could install an interface to get an overview of the whole space,traffic, add a domain + e-mail & forwarding etc.. or does such an interface for domain & mail come from the provider which sells me the domain? :o
