Windows 7 sound problem

Okay, got everything installed, drivers and all, but still i have this problem, the sound does crackles often, anyone knows what could help for this? cheers

Will check it out later, think i got it fixed now for my new headset, downloaded some drivers for it, works fine so far :p

this is a more frequent problem with cracked windows before they made updates so i hope that is not you. if not you should mention what soundcard you have, if its external or internal, specs etc

crackling is usually a problem with not having the audio buffer size on a setting that your soundcard can cope with on high volumes of data. Btw I hope you first let w7 try and drive the audio and when that didnt work you tried the company/model driver, if still failing then use something like ASIO driver, should fix problem but if it doesnt straight away you can play with buffer size, quality on it etc

if its only in et, try deleting the command line
