edit the windows file hosts (here: C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts )

and just put that 62.75.171.19 slac.chaplja.net inside

to make it work on the normal way again.



Solution to this morning's DNS issues

An issue with the DNS server caused problems for many people this morning. It has been fixed, but it may take up to 24 hours to work for everyone. Follow these steps to make SLAC work instantly if you can't wait for the DNS update:

Open the command prompt and execute the following command: ipconfig /flushdns

If that does not work, use notepad to open C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and add this to the end of the file:
62.75.171.19 slac.chaplja.net

When I run the bat file it gives an error: "can't find C:documents". Why does it even need to find that folder, my SLAC is located somewhere else.
