Comment here not in the tutoria pleasel. Cause there will be only the related comment to the tutorial.
will try, maybe now :D
it's nice. instead of writing try to put everything in a vid (ex: videocopilot, Andrew Kramer) (:. plus you'll not only make tuts for crossfire users, but for YouTube users too. It's a bad idea, I know. :p
Nice tutorial, but I think you should cover the basics of "moviemaking" before you explain the special effects.

Your recent movie had a weird aspect ratio (also fucked up the crosshair), the popups weren't all that pretty (skull icon can easily be removed with a custom .pk3) and the encoding was certainly below par. Why not work on that first?
There is a lot of basic tutorial already.
Weird aspect ratio? it was recorded in 1280x720, fov 95.
Removing the skull is nice idea, never heard aboit that tbh.

BTW I wont make basic tutorials for sure.

Here's a bunch of custom .pk3s I made the past few years. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.

Thompson -> MP40 muzzleflash - http://members.casema.nl/zz_frop_muzzleflash.pk3
All HUD sprites "empty" (except revive/ammo/objective/etc. player icons if I remember correctly) - http://members.casema.nl/frop/zz_frop_no_sprites.pk3
No commentator voice-overs - http://members.casema.nl/frop/zz_frop_no_voiceovers.pk3
RTCW sounds - http://members.casema.nl/frop/zz_frop_rtcw_sounds.pk3
Softer hitsounds (~33% reduction if I remember correctly) - http://members.casema.nl/frop/zz_frop_softer_hitsounds.pk3

I don't think it was ever posted anywhere, usually just gave a link on request. People are free to use them as they see fit.
