to gain size, u gotta lift hard, heavy weights.
u cant just say i only do 8 reps, u also gotta low reps, medium, high reps. varation is the key, but to gain the real rize, heavy weeeights is a must

atm i dont train legs at all, they are 2big atm, did get problems with jeans etc etc.

deadlift, well not that much 180kg, but without belt and rims on hands !!

I started exercising 2 months ago, started doing heavy sets a month ago and my first goal is to squat 100kg x5 and bench press 80kg x5 by new year. :p No idea what my deadlift will be by then, started doing it just last week (had difficulties to master the technique so that my lower back didnt hurt). Pulled up 130kg last Wednesday. :p

thats nice, well take your time. muscles may grove fast u know in start. but u cant lift 2heavy in start, ur leads needs to get used the the weight aswell.
i have been in gym in 2 years now, always eat good, sleep good and trained pretty good.

I hope everything will go fine because im extremely motivated atm (eating lots of calories from good sources + counting how much i eat daily :D sleeping enough and training hard of course + planning my training weights before going to the gym)

Yeah and I try to watch not to go too greedy, thats kind of easy especially in deadlift. And overall in all gym exercises joints need to used to the strain from heavy weights. :) But its been a bit hard especially now in the beginning when I have literally added weights in every training session, I feel like I dont want to restrict my development

I know that problem with jeans. Didn't have too many problems while being really fat 2 years ago, but now after losing quite some amount I don't fit in most of them (especially the calves seem to be too big for most trousers)

I guess by just walking around a lot and doing some running and other sports, while still being pretty heavy, I built up quite some muscles there :-|

I don't have any newer comparison pictures than the ones I posted here some time ago. However I can't even find those at the moment (and they are around 15 kgs old already).

Here's a picture of my face from the time before the diet (~ August 2008). You can compare it to the one I got in my profile (which is another 6 kgs old already). I think the change is quite noticable :-)

Naja, sind schon noch 22 Kilo knapp bis zum erstmaligen "Wunschgewicht" von ungefähr 95 kg (fast 60 insgesamt jetzt runter). Werd dann mal schauen, wie sich der Körper und vor allem die Haut entwickelt hat. Glaube schon, dass dann einiges hängen wird (teils jetzt schon) und dann muss ich gucken, wie ich dem entgegenwirken kann. Im Notfall halt OP, falls es die Krankenkasse zahlt. Sonst muss ich noch was sparen, ist recht teuer der Spaß :->

epic weight loss dude, my weight @ end of 2008 was something like 140kg, after 6 months of army hardcore weaponclass (Engineer squadleader :DDD) training the weight was something around 105kg :p

Well you know, my legs are big so the jeans are really really right there, while @ my Waist they are verymuch 2big. so i have to use like size 36 so my legs can fit in it. but then my waist is like yeah dunno how to say, but WAAAAY to biiig :D

yeah i started with muay thai and sports like that, and my legs are going down in volume now ^^

This is because the bigger you are the more lean tissue you have also. So even if a high % of your mass was fat, you'd have to have enough muscle to get you from A --> B. They say the most anabolic of all substances is food! ;)

Joo no se on kylla totta etta lisa-ravinteisiin menee rahaa, varsinki FASTin kamat + sitten toi CRACK on aika kallista/kg eli ei niita hirveesti kehtaa ostaa, yleensa otan ite isomman satsin kerralla niin riittaa sit pitemmaks aikaa, toi crack riittaa noin 3 viikoks / purkki, eli siihen ne pahimmat rahat kyl menee :D

no jos oot 2008 lopust asti reenannu nii sulla on se paino enemmän lihasmassana ku läskinä miten on vaikkapa mulla :P

30kg is the max in my gym but then when i went to ripped they have up to 150kg dumbells :O but we decided to max out on the bar instead since everyone is a proffesional body builder in that gym ! www.rippedgym.co.uk

Any idea about the frequency ? Was thinking about eating a lot of chicken (2times per day) and eggs.

im eating every 3rd hour. i try to eat much protein then, some carbs for energy and good fats like nuts.
