Need help - SLAC

Without SLAC 125 stable fps (sometimes 100)
With SLAC 40-60 fps.
I fixed it once with a reboot, but that was just a one time occasion. Do you guys close your antivirus to play ET? I hate doing that, but perhaps it's conflicting with SLAC/ET? Using AntiVir and my SLAC is not at exceptions, I just always click ignore when it tries to block SLAC.
This isn't just a random idea, I've tested it on a server where my team was playing by reconnecting multiple times with and without SLAC. Also posted on SLAC forum, but it's not as alive as crossfire is :)

But this is even worse, really unstable and massive tearing when it drops.
And on a high level that basically means that I'm dead before people even appear on my screen :D
