Do you ever think you will stop playing games ?
Everybody is getting older here, start work, maybe getting a girlfriend, kids etc etc.
Can you see urself 30-40 years old and still playing games in a competive level ?
discuss.

i'd also like to say, my dad played RTCW competitively for ages when he was like.. 41 or w/e lol so I defo will!
I get so turned on, when I turn on you
OH WAIT
let me out
help
But playing funwars with good company, I can imagine myself doing that still after 10 years.
YES
even if its only poker, i'll stay play a bit in my free time
you just miss too much in real life through online gaming, believe me. i am happy i am not "addicted" as i used to be.
edit: playing when youre bored is ok though. :D even for me there is a bit of spare time which i can use to play just for fun on public, i just dont play like 24/7 anymore.
sad that you cant see gaming from another view
Maybe they didnt sacrifice anything but they just dont have anything better to do than play.
it just "designed" my everday life.
Why I would quit something that I enjoy, like and love? Its different story if you dont enjoy it anymore. Like my School at the moment. I dont enjoy my departament or subject that I study. I will study for one year more because after that I will finnish it. Not thinking of doing work of Computer Sience Engineering after the school, because its boring.
When getting older well, no... I think I gonna continue playing. If get girlfriend.. did not bother me in past. I have girl now.. kinda and other girls so dont see any changes. Like vaGgi said "reallife". I want to know what is that you put in category of "reallife"?
You learnt your lesson i hope? :p
And i still play games and stuff.
I have to admit that i always laugh to younger ppl, who say that i stop gaming because i found a girlfriend and after 1-2 months they are back and have broke up with GF lol
ill still never , EVER cheat at an online game though. thats for the ULTRANERDS.
Been playing computer games for 13 years now (consoles longer) :-(((
schnee, punky? any1 interested :DD
But gaming overall, i don't see myself quitting with it for the upcoming years, for example playing Football Manager helps me relax and i don't see any reason why anyone should stop playing games because of their age
tho i pretty much quit already
more or less everyone plays games these days. Whether it's pc games or videogames or facebook games or poker/chess/whatever, it's the same. What you can do however is decide how you want to balance it between whatever else you might want to do. As long as it isn't a complete addiction it's all right imo.
but to answer the question I think I will play less and less as I get older, it just gets boring and eventually you find smth else you wanna do. Played videogames/ET hardcore when I was younger but now not so much.
but ill never stop spamming crossfire !
That's why I think praccing to be 'competitive' for more than 2 hours (20-23 including downtime between pracs) is absurd. :D In SNB we pracced twice a day (20-22) usually, and a lot of days (every thursday at least) we wouldn't prac because people weren't there and the results were still there (lol worst EC ever). The initial chemistry was there right from the start and once you have the team charisma, there really is no point in practising more than is absolutely necessary. It will just make the game feel like a drag instead of a relief. :)
Perfo keepin' it chilled two kay ten
I'd disagree with that, you're not happy if you're losing... you're one of the most competitive people I have ever known. If someone feeds you out the game in HoN (perhaps playing Devourer) I'm checking Dutch newspapers for a high school massacre.
Oh Jasper...
