thx someone mentioned it also has an optic sensor just like the 1800dpi and thats what i needed to know. Since i wasnt sure if it was optic or laser. And i dont want laser.

mx518 too slow? :/
how the fuck mx518 is too slow? :DDDD
it feels slower if your used to a G5. Although im not sure if its the same when your used to a DA but i could try that since my brother has one.
Parent
You really are stupid then :d

Btw, high DPI is shittier for gaming :D
Parent
i dont use high dpi and i never said i did...moron. I liked the G5 cause it could do 400dpi that's all. And the mx518 felt slower at the same settings. But like i said its just what your used to i guess. I mentioned the 3500dpi couse there is also a 1800dpi version of the DA

And i dont want to get another 1800pdi DA if its gonna cause the same problems. So perhaps the 3500 version is a better option since its also possible to put at 450dpi.
Parent
mx518 can do 400dpi as well...
Parent
Yes i know and i had those settings

Parent
Duhh... thats why i dont and i never said i did...

its just heavier and more surface grinding against mousemat

If you mean the uneven curves, that's normal for mice without prediction. I'm pretty sure there are drivers with prediction and without for the deathadder.

Some without prediction: all older microsoft mice
With prediction: basically every so called gaming mouse (DA, MX5xx..)

Oh, and the double click thingy can be sometimes fixed by adding some paper/tape right under the mousebutton.
Well i mean the spacing in between the lines. That just happens randomly. The signal just stops for some reason and then it continues.

And i also read that they released firmware that allows you to either enable or disable the prediction on the deathadder. I did not know if the newer version of the DA(3500dpi) has an optic sensor like the 1800dpi or the mx5xx and apparently it does.(if its true) So that's a plus.

As for the double click thing that kind of stopped when i flashed on the latest firmware but then this problem occurred.

Hm, never had such problems but it doesn't really sound like a software issue. Does it happen with every usb rate? Your mouse might be actually somewhat broken.

You could also get an old deathadder off ebay, if you don't want to adjust to a newer version :)
Parent
I switchsed back and forth with the rate a little but im not sure if it helps. Maybe the button is just broke or smth i dont know. Perhaps ill see if i can find an old DA somewhere unless its gonna have the same problems like this one :)
Parent
Which one would you go for?
1800dpi DA
or 3500dpi DA ?
Parent
No idea, haven't checked all those new fancy mice in the last months/years. I just know that the 1800 version worked flawlessly for me.

okay thx :)
