SLAC + CFG problem

When i play without slac I can play with com_hunkmegs 512 but when i want to play with slac, I have to set my hunkmegs lower eventough I have enough ram to put it to 512 (obvious, because otherwise i couldn't do it without slac either..)

Is this like a known bug or what?



Edit: Does in_mouse actually do something in ET? In quake I know the feeling changes, but in ET i hardly feel any difference?

i got the same problem as you but only with 768 ram or 1024 (in other words, i can use 512 but not higher hunkmegs)

and how much ram do you have please? Trying to figure out why this happens?:p I doubt that slac would use like 256 ram resource making it impossible to run xD

see so it's bullshit, it should be able to handle hunkmegs even on 1024 though afaik it wouldn't make much sense to do that ^^

I tested this and in taskmanager if i set it to 256 for example it does use more than the 196 ram u suggest so I don't know if this is actually true :p

tbh my aim still feels the same with slac but just sometimes with slac and hunkmegs 256 i have like irritating spikes, random disconnects or moments whereas I have the feeling not all my mouseinput is being used..

So I know what you are talking about :p

but still playable and much better than punkbuster so :-)
