The main fault with both sites in my opinion is mixing all the links for different games into one big and messy main navigation. They should make a simple introduction site with a simple drop-down menu of games, and when you choose a game it brings you to a page specifically designed for that game only. Perhaps iclude another small drop-down menu that gets you back to the main site or to other games' pages, but don't mix that in the main navigation.
And on top of that the ESL site is full of Javascript garbage hover-on menus and whatnot. Both sites are poorly designed, any proficient web designer can tell you that.
