Hi so im already skiing fith season. Now i wanna buy twintips for some freeski fun or freestyle. I never rode like that on twintips so i don't know how long should be these skis if im 177 cm tall. And i would like to get some thoughts about company - i mean which are worth to buy. Ofc take care of that im begginer in freestyle so i don't need some amazing skis. I woulld like to buy some cheap skis to see how it is. Cheers
E: i don't wanna to buy snowboard so fuck off trolls
E: i don't wanna to buy snowboard so fuck off trolls
or you will stay midget for rest of your life
I am 2 times biigger than you, and not only height wise
meeh?:)
its around 83kg so idd still pretty much to workout, but certainly not a "skinny fag":D
+ If you're freaking big and have 83kg then nigga plz...
are you brain damaged or what?
You are too stupid to discuss about anything eot:DDD
e: I wasnt making fun of you before cause after I've seen your face at lan I was sure you've got down syndrome or smth, now that's a fact.
THAT MUST HAVE BEEN ANOTHER DAGGER THEN ORRR...
Just go to a good shop, those ppl know absolutely know everything and can help you out quite well!
Also you cud just go skiing after taking some advice on some ski's and then rent and test several ski's out, that's what a m8 of mine did. (Could also do that @ indoor ski park they usually have a shop and you can actually test shit out there!)
As Xo said, first buy shoes.. don't mind the price/brand/colour or anything else. Just keep fitting till you find 'your" boots. I advice you to take boots they can warm up every 2-3years, so the fit won't wear off or something.
As for twintips, I assume you like freestyle? I would take a look at K2's.
I have the old version of the reviver myself. Make sure they aren't too big & again.. pls don't mind the price. Price/quality is pretty high in ski's. As for the colour & brand.. just make it fit your outfit :D
IMPORTANT EDIT!!!: I just read you are 16, don't buy anything. Keep on renting till you are fullgrown.
Thats the problem i don't have enough money to buy a good K2's or other top shelfed skis because of money. In Poland skis are expensive thats why i wanna buy cheap twintips from less well-knowe company but its hard to find...
And i mostly want twintips for freeskiing, ofc its kind of freestyle but i dont wanna ride in snowparks but in forest, hills etc
Trust me on this, rent epicly good skis its like going from a ford escort to a bugatti veyron. you can turn instantly, their much lighter, you can go so much faster.
i went skiing with the school 3 times, every single time they gave us absolute standard skis for rent. I had nothing to compare them to so i just got on with it and skid.
Then when i went and visited a girl doing a ski season in france. I rented nice skis.
It was like having sex while skiing. the improvement was astronomical. Immediate turning ability, i could go twice as fast, the boots felt like sex on my feet aswell.
i went up an entire skill level purely on the basis of MUCH better skis. this then enabled me to get much better at skiing very quickly. By the end of the week i was amongst the fastest people on the mountain. Raping it down the black runs at speed, doing offpiste, moguls was so easy.
better skis > *
pay 50 euros more to rent much better skis and you wont regret it.
EDIT: FU i want to go skiing now. Going in March :).
