M. Koivu (MIN) loses a stick. Then he battles and takes the stick straight from Ryan's (ANA) hand and keeps on playing with it without drawing a penalty. Miettinen (MIN) is still thinking its Koivu without stick and moves the stick more center that Koivu could pick it up. Well Ryan realizes the free stick on the ice (which is wrong curve for him) picks it up and scores

well done finns :D

Me neither really, but my understanding is that one player stole another player's stick after dropping his own. Then the guy who had his stick stolen, picked the dropped one up from the ground and scored with it.

Ye that's what I thought but..

If one player lost his stick, then he would have no stick. He took someone else's stick so does that mean two people lost their sticks in this game?? Where did the extra stick come from. How fucking shit are these guys that they can't even look after their sticks.

One guy stole his stick, so the guy who stole the stick ended up having 2 sticks. He threw his own one on the ground. And then the guy who had his stick stolen, picked up the dropped stick and scored with it.

If we were being really picky we could say that he scored with an illegal stick, but considering Koivu took Ryan's stick, I think it's fair!! :D

That Koivu and Havlat were asking also but as Ryan's stick was still fine he was allowed to use a spare stick (Koivu's). If his stick would've been broken he could only get a new one from bench or from a teammate.

Koivu's face is hilarious!!!! Karma... :D

This ain't "the best goal ever" at all. It's funny how they switch sticks, but the goal itself was just a lucky deviation on the goalie, nothing special.
