so aparenly back home my virgin media box is failing.
before 2006 virgin media boxes did not come with some modem inside that is needed to run 10 MB. aparently weve had our virgin box for 4 years so it doesnt have the modem installed.
so for the last 4 years my inet has been constantly failing and disconnecting every single day because the box cannot support a 10 MB connection. We just thought it was constant interupted signal due to the wireless only.
Now after 4 years the box failed and we found out about the issue of the modem today. Virgin media never told a single person about this problem. So we ring up and say we need a new box as our one is failing and need a new one. The internet is working but at under 1 MB speed now so running very slow, cant watch movies , play games on it.
call out to install new box: 6th January...

Call out if the box has completely failed: 3-4 days

my isp use to do it, and me and my brother would get booted off of any online game we were playing every 20-30mins, was awful.
fortunately after a phonecall it all stopped, I simply explained it was stopping me from being able to do my job and was damaging me financially for a service I already pay money for.
And then I could play online games again, huzzah!
