For me atleast, it's surely not the same game anymore. So many varieties are gone now or just way too risky to do, such as going covert and blowing up the CP or having fops just for ammo, if you actually have one at all.

3on3 style medic wars with a rifle, that's how it feels (for me and atleast a few others that I know of).

However I doubt that this team would ever play actively again anyway as atleast senji and me don't have so much time anymore to spend. I'm pretty sure Jaki got other things in mind as well. No idea if Night returns after his army service.

yeh i see what u mean about the medic wars though im not sure if thats necessarily a bad thing

decreasing the fops charge time would solve the ammo issue

i can see what you mean about the risk-taking factor though isnt that balanced out by the need for more team work which is a good thing surely?

the only annoying thing i find with 5on5 is managing spawn times for attacks/defences, one full can ruin a team and its hard to recover

im glad 5on5 has less spam though and its increased activity in et

Well, I guess it got its pros and cons. And for me there are way more negative things.

By risk taking I also meant the fact that a full spawn can ruin everything, while in 6on6 you still had some space to recover somehow.
The games are less interesting for me since there's almost nothing left but smg fights. I always found it interesting to see what other fops, coverts, soldiers etc. are doing.

And I'd guess that you actually need more teamwork in 6on6 as there's one more player to manage and you got way more possibilites to defend or attack (weapon and class wise).

The game might have less spam now but a spam kill is more crucial than before, so I actually find it worse. :)

Then again I haven't played 5on5 in a stable top team in the last months/year, so my points are just based on some mixes, a few games with TAG, ETTV games and comments by other players (who are actually playing in 5on5 teams :p)

well all I can say is try playing 5on5 in a stable, reasonably good (if not top because of time commitments) team and try it out

i guess i never liked the spam so much as a player so I don't miss it
