unable to get into et when open

got this problem when i open ET it is as if i keep hitting the windows key,where it shows the bar at the bottom with the start button and cannot get into the game.
Before I could just click the screen a few times and it went in but now it just flashes.
It even does it with the keyboard unplugged.

help plox :'(
