Stupid fucking yanks ripping off shameless, do we have to dumb down everything for them? First The Office, now this. Can they not watch anything unless it has an american accent?

That meant that the series was exclusive to that channel not that it was an original creation.

fucking unbelievable to be honest. probably one of my favourite series' , theyll never do it fucking justice....

in fairness though, the writer of shameless and channel 4 must have sold the rights for them to make it....so mibbe a small letterbombs in order :P

I just find it irritating how everything has to be changed so americans can understand it. We watch american shows and understand other accents and slight differences in slang etc, yet they can't comprehend anything "British". I watched "The Ultimate Fighter" a few days ago, and they were subtitling one of the fighters with a manchester accent, ignorance at it highest.
