Playing HD Material.

What do you use for setup to play HD movies, 1080p etc etc.

Are you using windows media player classic ? or vlc or something else?

And how about the codecs ? are you using codec pack or are u fixing all manuall for better performance ?

Using media player classic with divx h.264 decoder.
Tested it a while ago and divx h.264 decoder almost uses 50% less memory then coreavc

Just dont be a retard and dont use VLC. CoreAVC+ ffdshow+ Haali Media Splitter latest version, use guides on how to configure them.

we have a complete gigabit network. And the xtreamer itself has 100Mbit, thats more than enough for full hd.

xtreamer is next to the sony bravia.
xtreamer is connected to the gigabit network
so from the pc to xtreamer using the network
and from the xtreamer to tv with hdmi
