unpartitioned space

Hey!

I did format my HDD but forgot to partition about 40GB. I am lack of space so it would be cool if I could format it somehow.
Is it possible to get in use it somehow without booting from disk?

Unfortunately, the GUI program that comes with win7 is bugged. I had the same problem as you have. You need to open up windows cmd and run 'diskpart'.

What you have to do is use EXTEND command within this program. Type 'help' if you need details.
