Well not everyone has time to spend all their time practicing for the next cup and playing 6+ hours a day to improve. At least with consoles you get to relax and enjoy the game instead of focusing on just winning.
I also think playing on a console is shit, but I just don't have the time to play PC games as I seem to take them seriously and aim to improve rather than enjoying the game. When I play 360 I just relax and use my other FPS game skills to play better.
The console scene does have active cups and matches, and there is actually some very good players on there. I'm talking amazing aiming, and it isn't as easy as you would think aiming with the thumbsticks...
The only thing different is that they hardly move and all go prone. You should try it, you would enjoy it for relaxing.
Yeah, but 90% of FPS games on consoles have some extent of aim assist in them. It's kinda sad, to have an input method so crappy you have to make an aimbot to be able to play properly on it.
I don't know anybody who actually uses it. I always disable it, it doesn't even help either, it makes things harder to play. When trying to shoot 1 guy it will start to follow another... so multikills are a nono. :(
agreed, auto aim is a fucking night mare when you're aiming at someone else and the 360 decides to aim you at someone else, leaving you with your ch pointed at the middle of the map.
Completely irrelevant comment. I wouldn't play an FPS on my PS3, but there are plenty of good games like Red Dead Redemption which are exclusively available on consoles.
no one who comes round to my flat wants to watch me playing et on my computer. but quite a few want to play black ops on my xbox. pc is for when you're alone, console for if you have friends.
well u can play games with your friend as well on the computer like fifa, pes and a some more.
