for ET i would go for steelseries 7G.
its mainly for starcraft
Parent
What do you mean ?
You want keyboard to play mainly starcraft ? Or the 7G is mainly for starcraft ?

That's my point of view :
the razer one get 5 more keys on the left side (F1..F5), but you can't use macro for ET. I'm pretty sure you can for any recent game so, let's get more basic keyboard.

I personally have 18 keys on my keyboard like the razer keyboard. Just the name changes, for example it's not M1..M5 but G1..G18.

random quote
QuoteReally good feel - the Cherry switches have a resistance to being pushed, then once you go over that, they go down smooth, fast, and hard. They don’t feel like they have drag or resistance all the way through the travel like a lot of cheap membrane or rubber dome keyboards do. They also don’t change in feel over time like a membrane or rubber dome keyboard does.

Combine that with the mechanical click sound and sensation as you type, and the feedback you get from the keyboard is excellent. You can often hear or feel when you make typos or miss a key.

And it just sounds badass when you are typing at 100+ WPM, the clatter is enough to make someone else in the room shoot you a dirty look.

All reasons to choose a mechanical keyboard.

ah

you might aswell throw ur money in the fucking ocean then cuz the only thing a mechinal keyboard does is make a shitload of noise
Parent
Parent
i'd say the choice is all like:
like clicks on button push(like on a mouse) - razer
dont like clicks - steelseries
razer macro keys are pretty useful(had pasting, cooller's ¦] smiley in ET using ascii keycode + other stuff myself when using tarantula)
dunno about backlight, always have lights on when using PC
also apparently tarantula has ghosting when pressing caps lock but that's not rly a serious problem i guess http://www.esreality.com/?a=post&id=2008628#pid2008628
tarantula isnt mechanical..?
Parent
nah, but it has same macrokeys as blackwidow
