Problems with ET,,!!!

1 week ago my windows crashed,
i installed it again on my pc, installed all drivers,
installed Ts and irc and installed ET
but when i tried to play a war, i couldnt get in to the game:
i had to enable my punkbuster, but when i cliked enable, my ET crashed;
so i tried 3 times more and all same effect, i asked some friends we tried mutch things like:
reinstall ET,
use some other1 his profile
reinstall drivers
update punkbuster (with pbweb.exe)
update punkbuster (with pssetup)
so if you had this problem and fixed it or, you know a sulotion, it would be very nice

what kind of 'crash' ?
but can you play on publics?
public as private
but i never play pubs:P
I am almost 100% sure that you have to install SP2 after you installed WindowsXP again...
download SP2 and install it and see if ET works then...
edit: some drivers wont work if you havent installed SP2
