Why ESL...

Can't you just have a site working properly :<

Been trying to add a team logo now for the last 10 minutes. All the requirements are filled, the picture is min. 180x180, it's "squarisch" and it's a JPG. Still the ESL site have some trouble handling it.

Only me experiencing this?

I was about to quit anyway. So it doesn't really matter if was kicked or quitted. They "kicked" me for telling my opinion about bad rules by ESL and uncommon match procedure. If you're admin there you've to handle with many bugs (website) and a poor admin panel. Please note it's almost a year ago. It wouldn't suprise me if they already noticed it and finally fixed it. But why they would admit their slight deficits? :D

And tbh: When I was admin there, I always thought I could convince the community that ESL is better, but believe me it isn't. Clanbase is and will be the best league in future, because it's easier to understand, not dominated by the Germans and they've obviously the better website and proper functions. The support system with tickets is the biggest shit ever. Why isn't it possible to add another checkbox when you're singning up your team? But no, it's easier to let the users create mass of support tickets to rate their skill. Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK?

That's the reason why many former ESL admins (e.g. Germany essAh) quitted. They simply run out of steam, you know? It's annoying if you're log in and see 60 open support tickets. God spare me, but the current ESL teams is a bunch of nerds. They spend a way too much time in online games. Otherwise it's not possible to manage the mass of tickets.

Well, that's the story. And if they kick a decent guy, they look for more and other people:

Weuw allright.

Well I've honestly ran into a wall trying to handle the ESL site couple of times now. It's like they're overdoing it, it's far to complex to just understand after 10 minutes of browsing, which should be needed. And now when simple things like editing your team takes numerous tries you sort of get tired of it.

It's a shame really as it could be awesomeness, and no other leaguesite has the wealth and ground to stand on that can match ESL.

Well, from here we get a great transition to other habit of IRC I simply can't understand in this puny community: changing nicks all the time.

If people just used whatever nick they usually use (i.e. same nick on CF and IRC) it would save a lot of trouble, but oh noee, retards have to change their nicks all the time according to whatever shit clan they're in or whether they're away from keyboard or not and so forth. Bah.

But we have to remember that IRC (and Quakenet) is used by many people, so if one's nick is already taken...
