new pc, enough good?

Well after 4 years I'm ready to buy a new pc because my old
is just not running anything. I havent got so much money so
it shouldnt cost much but have to be a good one. Tricky, isnt it?

I want to buy part-2-part and will build it home when everything
arrived... the parts I checked are the following:

motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H
processor: Intel Core i5-760 2,8 GHz LGA-1156
memory: Geil Value Kit2 DDR3 PC10600 1333MHz 4GB (2x2GB)
gfx: Gigabyte GV-R567ZL-1GI ATI Radeon HD5670 1GB (DDR5, PCI-E 2.1)

it doesnt cost so much but looks powerful in every way, what do you
think, will it be a good pc to run any new game on nice settings?

For the current games it seems to be pretty good in my opinion. :)
buy i7 and 5770
thats almost twice as much as these specifications, i wont have that money and i dont think it would worth it anyway...
Parent
it obviously will be worth it, but if u havent got the money then dont worry !
Parent
You are right, you wont notice it anyway.
i5 is just as good for gaming as the i7. Since HT doesn't help for gaming.

But the 5770 will be better ofc.
Parent
most useless comment of 2011 so far
Parent
most pointless person of 2011 ;D
Parent
look my specs and i can run newest games on ultra/high settings (like newest cod, nfs, mafia etc etc)
they are 2 years old so im sure u will run every new game
well it sounds cool, ty

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 445

the spec i wrote would cost me: 110,000.00 HUF = 394.643 EUR

without HD and with lower graphic card. in other countries pc specs
are cheaper or what? or maybe the processor is better here?

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 445 what?

Parent
Why would you recommand AMD, and Kingstom memory?

got it from a site

ah yeah the processor u wrote is much cheaper than mine.
Parent
rather get a better processor, it's easier to buy new video card later on
Parent
yeah the processor surely stays what i wrote, i couldnt find better at this price.
Parent
sorry thats not the processor i got i have the 450 not 445 :_D

445 has 3.10 ghz and 450 3.20

I would of gone with some AMD phenom II processor instead of any Intel:/
new intel I series pwns
Parent
true, but when a six core @ AMD costs roughly the same as a dual/quad core @ intel .. its pretty hard to turn that offer down :p
Parent
price performance ratio of AMD is unbeatable.
Parent
i think you should give me your cs s account.
wait for AMD bulldozer tbh
summer time? .. why not just wait for the sandy bridge, the prices are reasonable
Parent
cuz Im sick of the mouselag you get with some intel boards, shitty polling rate and many other bugs
Parent
I'd suggest a Nvidia card from a 8800GTX and up would be good.

AMD Phenom II x6 its way more better than Intel Core i5
i have to say i want to buy intel processor. no logical reason why, just.
Parent
usless for playing any game :DDD
Parent
Fail,i5 beats it easily.it´s not about gHz,it´s about threads handling.
Parent
you are the one who is failing here.
The thing X6 is better with, is handling more threads at the same time. Because it's a hexacore.

Gaming wise i5 is better.
Parent
It's good.
Good choice that gigabyte, they give nice warranty. My gtx460 OC has 3 years.
You have to buy new power supply aswell for those components?
motherboard looks ok
i recently purchased the 5770 gfx for cheaper than the 5670 from CCL :)
u'll need a new (modular) psu for those components unless u already have one
also, i don't recommend any "value kit" ram simply because it isn't as reliable as the rest

check the specs in my profile for what i recently bought, and infact it's coming tomorrow !!
modular psu is not needed. It's easy, but you don't need it.

And i think 350W power supply is enough already for those specs.
Parent
hmm, if i was him i'd go for atleast 430W just to be sure :}
Parent
That setup wont even touch 250W. So that would be overkill.
Parent
true, but there's not much price difference between the two :)

e: he could just use this -> http://www.antec.outervision.com/
Parent
The 350W will be more efficient. But 430W is acceptable, if he wants a better GPU in the future. Else he will just be wasting money on a more expensive PSU and on power.
Parent
wait sandy bridge is coming this month. And that will blow your i5 away.

So buy P67 motherboard ( socket 1155 ) + i5 sandy bridge = win.

And i would rather invest more in the GPU than CPU for gaming. Since you won't notice it if you are playing on higher resolutions. So i3 sandy bridge will be fine as well.
No love for Bulldozer?
Parent
not if he wants it now or in a few weeks.

You know i love bulldozer.

AMD is good for tweakers, since you can unlock most of there processors. And lately you can even unlock there high-end graphics cards. What more do you want.

Unlike Intel that is limiting overclocking with sandy bridge.

And i am loving my x6 http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/361/23336062.png
Parent
4.3GHz, impressive, whats cooler you got on it? I don't think this kid is considering overclocking so yah I guess sandy bridge would be the simplest answer to get his performance without having to do anything. What model GTX 460 do you have? I need to replace my 9600GT sometime and looking at trying to get a fairly good card to last me a long time.
Parent
I have Gigabyte OC GTX 460, standard version from Gigabyte with 2 coolers. Silent and good cooling.

I have watercooling, my cooling is not an issue while overclocking. And i have 2x240mm radiators.

And the sandy bridge K models ( the only ones you can overclock really good ) are also very impressive with overclocking. 4.6GHZ seems easy to do already
Parent
e8500 + 260 gtx = win
my pc@profile and all games on high details
You'll need to buy a AMD Phenom II X6 1090T !! so much better then the i5 trust me !

en vid card get the ATI Radeon 6850 ;)
I assume that is more than enough to handle ET.
