not really. i used to play it with some friends tho and they kept yelling at me cuz i had no clue where to go :(

well ive played both and i find cs1.6 easier to control, more responsive and a bit faster. CSS is still nice though.

You played since the update of CSS? It's completely changed... hitboxes, graphics, engine, menus, guns etc... :)

depends which update u mean, i wasn't that keen on the one with achievements and tf2 style death cams. I thought that there was a CSSPro mod that changed all of that stuff anyway?

lol, dunno... when I played IRC matches it was always standard CSS with some war config... yeah I think that's the update... I got 1.6 and CSS but never play them :p, got RL friends who're amazing at that game... playing with them makes me feel like a dick cuz I'm so shit lol... no point low- playing with high players :D... ironic, I got him into the game :D.

Promod is individual mod for CSS. It's maps are from CS 1.6 with source graphics, means no junk:). Also its psychics, recoil and so on is changed like CS 1.6 has.

And my own opinion is that CS 1.6 is better, but has weak server providing, I mean it really doesnät have any good servers to play. CSS has many Finn servers and my friends play it(they are bad), that's why I stick with it.

I have never understood the stupid spread and recoil in CS:S. Would be a nice game if they had some logic in them, but they don't.
