HD Playback, Tearing/Stripes

Just downloaded the Milan - Udinese game in HD (.ts)
and I'm getting weird tearing/stripes/lag when there's a lot of motion. I remember getting this sometimes while rendering clips in vegas and it was solved by just changing a setting. Is this a problem with my codecs or is it just a bad mistake from whoever capped the game?

Without motion it looks fine:

While in motion it looks horrible:

its in 3D!
it happens to every HD file?
Limit frame rate - vertical sync...
how to do it in MPC? :p
Parent
Surely there must be a setting... You also try and de-interlace the video... I know VLC has that option built in.
Parent
There are a couple of vsync settings but they're disabled for some reason.
I just googled around and read about de-interlacing, need to get this Bob function but I can only find how to do it with Ati.

VLC doesn't play the file at all for some reason.

This app played everything I threw at it, including 3D movies... even makes movies 3D IIRC... I remember de-interlace... should still be in it.

Looks like 1080i, the "i" in which I have come to believe, means "interlaces like fuck."
looks like interleaving, and if it is interleaving, I dont think u have an option to fix it.
E: eventhought there could be some apps, wasnt rly looking for some :)
ah, sucks }x
Parent
I could be wrong (actually its highly possible, since I dont have rly deep knowledge in this), the only way I know how to make interleaved video is by settings when rendering (in vegas or so) and I believe its irreversible. Playing HD video itself is kinda CPU consuming (depends on codecs and fps ofc, but if its h264+29.97 it could lag after using some de-interleaving option or software if there is some)

I just downloaded Zoom Player and opened the file there, there was an option called "DeInterlace video", it fixed it completly but the framerate dropped A LOT, but I went into task manager and set the priority to High and now it runs smooth as silk. Looks a lot better <3
Parent
well, I think even mpc could have some deinterlace option somewhere, but most likely u would have to do either some search on google or manually check all options of video filters
Parent
yeah I checked but couldn't find anything :D
Parent
just for the fun I checked mpc and it was much easier to find than I thought :)) if u r using ffdshow then right click on window and find filters > ffdshow video decoder > deinterlacing
Parent
uhm, in ffdshows video decoder settings or in MPC? Cause in MPC after rightclicking, going to filters and checking the ffdshow video decoder tab I have no such option.

There is one in ffdshows settings though but didn't help for me :o

this is what I have in ffdshow video decoder
