Bad fps with decent pc

Hi,
Bought my pc 3months ago.
I cant seem to get stable 125fps , i get fps ~90-125 with com_maxfps 125
I'm using com_maxfps 85 atm which is stable but i would obviously like 125fps

My Specs:

AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 640 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Radeon HD5570 - 1024 Mo - PCI-Express 2.0
MSI GF615M P33 - Chipset nVidia nForce 430 - Socket AM3
2048MB RAM OCZ Technology

Any Help would be very appreciated :)

Trust me, it does. I had similar PC (better) and I struggled to get 125 FPS @ 3.6Ghz @ quad core... Windows XP did the job... turn down in your Catalyst (driver settings) all the graphical details... and make sure you tick, let application control this setting... up the fan speed a bit on your graphics card (in the same menu) and winwin.

in my Ati drivers i've turn to optimal performance but still struggles.
which version (servicepack) of XP?

Before doing this... try disable Windows User Account Control - Google it's few clicks... then make sure all PB services are started... HOLD WINDOWS KEY PRESS R type services.msc... find all punkbuster related and set to auto/ on

It helps. I have a worse PC, Core 2 Duo E4600, 2gb of memorz 667mhy, hd4850 512
I can get stable 125 fps on Windows XP x64, but I couldn't even get stable 90 with Windows 7.

I wouldn't bother going for 64bit... I've had it... no difference... apart from trouble installing 32 bit applications since the path is changes from Program Files to Program Files(x86) which causes so many problems for me. Also PB has some problems, if I remember correctly.

it was fixed after 10.6 or so. remained for 10.4/5 i think.

It wasn't the latest. I don't keep my drivers up to date with every new version. Was ok with 10.09, is ok with 10.12.

it's yours cpu or o/s fault, you're playing in a low resolution so that it can bot be the graphiccards fault

if I'd downclock my cpu to 1.8 GHz I'd still have stable 125 fps

I'm using a heavily modified version of win xp pro sp3
