this is the happiest day of my life! My mom just promised me to add the money I miss to buy my new desktop computer!

I'm going for the following:

Processor: i5 Sandy Bridge ~150€
Moederbord: Asus SABERTOOTH P67 ~170€
Geheugen: Kingston ValueRAM KVR1333D3N9K2/4G ~50€
Grafische kaart: Club3D HD 6850 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-E ~160€
Voeding: 500 watt random ~50€
DVDbrander: Random one ~20€
Harde schijf: Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ, 1TB ~50€
Random case ~30€
OS: Windows XP 64 bits 0€

Should be a total of ~680€

lol, dont listen to that nerd. Graphic card makes no difference in ET, it's much more based on CPU power. U can buy pc with 300€ to reach 125fps. But getting stable 125 fps is impossible in et :DDD

Nothing better to propose actually. Your graphic card is the best atm from it's price range.
You can easily run newest games with your system.

i got:

i3-540 @ 4.00 GHz

XFX ATI Radeon HD 5750

4 GB Corsair gold ram 1333Mhz

Arctic cooler Pro cooling system

Fps has never dropped below 125, im still yet to see 124.
My OS is Win7 :)

I can put all settings and resolution on high, flamethrower myself while calling arty on myself outside on rader and it doesnt drop to 124, just stays at 125 :).

Proof that nerds on this site know fuck all about FPS and ET :DD. the 5 doesnt even flicker like it wants to change to 4 :DD

Ur specs are better than mine.


I can run crysis on 1680x1050, VERY HIGH settings on everything and get 25- 35 fps :).
all settings on high i get 40 - 50fps. All settings on medium i get like 70-100+ fps :D

btw dont get a random PSU. 500 W random PSU wont be able to handle those specs. Get an OCZ or Corsair 500 W PSU, they are the most reliable PSU brands. They actualy are 500 W whereas random brands definately wont be 500 W.

however id recommend getting a higher W PSU, with a 500 W PSU and those specs i doubt youl be able to upgrade much as the PSU wont be able to handle.

get a 550-600 W PSU imo :)

sure, but the fps drops begin when there are many players on the server / near you.
but on some maps its really impossible to get stable 125 at some places with many players, due to shit engineering like bremen.

ive played on FP demolition centre with 30 people. still doesnt drop to 124 fps. I went to nexus 60 man server and didnt drop to 124 fps :D.

ive tested everything and im still yet to see 124 fps :).

so your argument is invalid.

Have read some posts about people telling they got less FPS on win7 than on XP :x
