Na, it's already working for almost 2 years now and went through various things that would have surely killed some fancy players (sand, rain, mud.. basically just a normal camping trip!)

There are tons of scratches on the display though, kinda hard to read when scrolling through the menu and songs. Mostly using my phone nowadays, cba to carry two devices :-g
