Spiders...

How do they build their web? Do they ejaculate the string the the other stick/branch/whatever or do they attach it and run all the way to the other side? Just curious since ive had a discussion about spiderman lacking the ability to shoot webs out of his ass like spiders. Your help is very much appreciated :)

something like this i think:

First they attach some strings to branches or w/e and then they start from the middle running circles and attaching each string to the strings that lead to the middle.

e: the strings come out of their ass btw
