check the spamfolder
If you don't receive any email at all, check your spamfolder. Otherwise contact the Steam support, but make sure to add following details into the message:

- Your account name
- Your purchase receipts (if you don't have any saved, screenshots of your paypal transactions will work too)
- A scan/photo of a retail booklet including your ticket ID*
---- See: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2268-EAFZ-9762

(*Create the ticket and attach the photo directly afterwards. You can see the ticket ID in the url: https://support.steampowered.com/view.php?ticketref=XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)

Since Steam needs all those infos to verify that you're the actual owner of this account. Missing any of them will just result in Steam sending you automated messages to turn those infos in before they give you any further information or reset the account's login details.

You used a different email when registering your steam account.

For e.g. paypal it's enough to make a screenshot of the transaction details and attach them to the ticket. Since you've paid with credit card there surely will be something similar... i mean, somewhere you should be able to see how much money has been charged from your cc.

In case you saved your cc details on steam (for further purchases) it also should be enough to add the last 4 digits of your cc number to the ticket.
