Power crash in Kiew at IEM5

Holy crap,

Ql semifinals were really fantastic so far.
First semifinal between Belarus cypher and Poland av3k went over 5 maps already and now also France strenx fought his way back into a 5th map against Russia cooller after loosing the first two maps.

Now it is 30 seconds before end of the 5th map and they have a power crash in Ukraine Kiew.
The whole event area is dark and out of power :D


Since half of the 5th map was already lotto with massive lagg and a not present admin it should imo be replayed.


Still i m holding thumbs for the frenchie!

hard decision but i think its not unfair.
Its not like cooller was leading by 5 frags already.
When the lagg started strenx was leading.
And that lagtime was just garbagetime...
in such an important situation like the final map of the QL semifinal it s justified to replay it.

Still the concentration might already be gone now

the conditions were for sure the same but it still becomes somewhat lotto.

They asked for a pause and the admin didn't give it, because he was.. afk? That means anything after that shouldn't really count imo.

could have gone in exactly opposite way as well..
it was lottominutes and definitely not conditions that such important games should be played on

wouldnt count that as one of ESLs faults.

strenx lags, then cooller admits that he lags too
no admin for 3-4 mins while lags
20 secs before end admin pauses
they dont know what to do, cooller refuses to replay
now power crash

please, its so obvious :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

the pause should ve been in already when strenx complained and not 4 mins later.

but im not there, i just dont think that tauBe was on his PC and just refusing to pause.
Maybe he was already involved in the problem or whatever.

I'm not sure it should be replayed, they played under the same conditions however it's a huge mistake not to pause it immediately

yep they needed like 3 or 4 mins to then pause in the last 30 secs... and i guess it wasnt unpaused b4 so a replay should be inevitable

I've never tried it, can you pause yourself? I think you can call a timeout

just match hosters have the ability afaik and in that case the admins are the hosters.

there were 9k viewers on the stream of which not even half of them had a clue about QL.
i guess its okay for him to say they could to not say one of their admins was afk when he was needed.

Really don't know. If so it's completely strenx's fault he didn't pause and can't now complain about it.

I hope it gets replayed, but I don't think it should. Although there wasnt an admin to pause, strenx could've called a timeout.
