Gaming headsets info

What headset did you had?
Wich one do you got now?
Background noise? (Usefull for LAN players)
And give the pro and cons of the headset you got and the ones you got before it.

Personally i am figuring out some headsets like:

Sennheiser PC 350 (got that one now)
Sennheiser PC 360 (Is there any real difference then the 350?)
Steelseries Siberia v2 Full-size USB Headset (most seen headset prbly cause of the $$$)
Razer Megalodon 7.1 Gaming Headset (The only 7.1 gaming headset? background noise?)

Well have fun but keep in mind goal is to compare headsets so a just it is the best wont help much ;)

And if ppl hate backgound noise then i sugest Beyerdynamic DT 770 M ppl that drum will know this one for sure ;)

Haven't used headphones for gaming for some time now, I'm used to my sennheiser cx550

Shall give the sennheiser rs110/130 a try with ET when I get time.

had some random plantronics headphones

now:
steelseries 7H USB
it's awesome hearing everything + 2 different ear cushions.. you hear no background noises with the leather ones and they are comfortable + I've never had probs with the micro.
Be prepared that ppl call you wallhacker because you hear their footsteps 123123 metres away :pPp
2 plantronic gamecom headsets. One for sound, the other for the mic. Have no problem hearing anything in ET. Got a decent soundcard though so maybe the quality of headset isn't too important.
so 1 aint enough? or did the mic died on the first one?
Parent
Mic works on one but the arch of the headset is snapped so its wrapped with duct tape, so its uncomfy to use, and the other has a broken mic :DD

one thing i see oftend on steelseries is that big cable remote (mic on / off and volume arranging thing.
If you compare it to sennheiser i think sennheiser did a better job in that part.

Best would be that control thing adding in one of the ear sides frame or so.
Best would be no control thing at all maybe just one mic on off switch since most headsets die cause of that control thingy.

Thing i like of steelseries is the way thy did the mice in on of the earcaps that is something that is missing in sennheiser and razer.
Get a stereo headset. Those 5.1 ones are bullshit.
creative fatality is all you need, use it like a wallhack
Sennheiser PC150
Sennheiser PC350
Sennheiser HD555
From good to even better, also in the order i had them. They all still work.
Breach, PC161 <3
