Spikes & Lag

Hello, I have gotten spikes every 4-5. seconds, and my ping jumps to 160-220. This is quite annoying as I have no clue what the reason might be.

I have tested my i-net it said

ping: 26
dl: 5.71
ul: 0.56

I don't believe that's the cause. I have also shut off the AV. My FPS is somewhat stable.

I was hoping there's someone out there who knows the answer, or have had the same experience and fixed it. This is not caused by slac either, since I have the same problem when specing at ETTV. I have also reinstalled ET, with no luck.

i´ve had the same , ping jumps and it feels like im fps dropping but i aint no idea how to fix it since it only happends randomly

so you didn't experience this regularly, it just happened every now and then?

did you do anything to fix it?

I also did I test in CMD, it said:

packages sent 139, received 139, packet loss 0%

minimum = 0ms , maximum 192ms, average 5 ms

vista 32 (":D") & cable, but i completely removed my AV, might have worked

Thanks, I tried, but no go.

I recently noticed that when I am standing still, the ping differs between 48-60. So apparently there's no lag when standing still, it does however giving me massive spikes when moving. Never experienced such before.

Har det samme problemet. Bruker telenor turbo bredbånd, bruker du det samme?
Isåfall kan det hende vi må ringe kundeservice..

Har også hørt at man kan ringe til nettselskapet, så kan de gjøre at nettet prioriterer ms/ping nivået på spill høyere enn alt annet!

Skal gjøre det i sjæl. (i skjul^^)

dette høres ut som en plan. Om jeg ikke har turbo bredbånd, så er det i hvert fall Telenor. Utrolig irriterende. Hvis det er som du sier, mulig å prioritere ms/ping på spill, skal jeg faen meg gjøre det også!

da må det være telenor som gjør et eller annet.. har to andre venner med telenor nett, som opplever det samme på spill :S
