New pc m123

Yoo my pc is 10 years old already and it starts to show off some strange behaviour so I think its time for a new one. I also need it for school but I would like to be able to play some games on it aswell. Somebody knows a site where I can buy a decent pc -> price/quality? Thank you very much!

We have better stores here in NL

It depends on what your meaning of "better" is? I'm quite sure that you could put all the pieces together by yourself. I can't. I don't know alot about hardware and the shop gave me alot of information that seemed very honest/legit to me
Parent
i bet you could actually do it if you tried but fair enough
Parent
I don't wanna risk destroying parts that are worth alot..
Parent
you can literally throw a graphics card or cpu to a friend across the room and have him put it in a motherboard and it still works fine!

yes i am that lazy
Parent
not everybody feels the same about different things
Parent
chill out im just saying you could do it

its fine though i can make money from people being scared to try!
Parent
People are scared for the unkown!
But yea i agree, its easy you just gotta try it.

I don't have experience asking questions to webshops here in NL since i don't need to.
But there are many good webshops here with good price ratio, and who are good in assembling. Also since mize is dutch, it's best to order in NL. Belgium stores don't have any advantage in comparison. German webshops on the other hand are good possibility because sometimes there prices are much lower.

Usually its best to select the components yourself & then just let a shop assemble it. Whats the pricerange you're thinking of?
Well I am thinking of 400 euro. As I said I wont be using it to play a lot of games so I dont wanna spend too much money on it.

E: I have no clue which components are good so I dont think thats going to be a succes :d

What kind of games will this be? Old games (diablo 2, starcraft 1, ET) or more recent games (Starcraft 2, Black ops)? 400 euro will get you a very basic basic PC since you will have to buy the following components as a minimum:
  • Processor
  • Motherboard
  • Ram memory
  • Hard drive
  • Graphic card
  • Possibly an optical DVD drive

Edit: You can always ask help online / read reviews about components hehe.

I am going to use it to play some ET but I would also like to play FM 2011 and maybe cod: black ops. But graphics arent really important for me if it just runs stable then I am happy.

Forgot some other stuff:
  • Case
  • Power Supply

order everything from internet for lowest price + assemble yourself.

Never built a pc myself before but i succeeded.
Parent
buy pc second hand with a budget of 400, for the most performance.
If you have 500 budget you can actually buy some quality.

And use tweakers.net for right shops and components.
Not everyone is fond of 2nd hand electronics, I'd never buy something from a stranger regarding computers unless the person is a friend.
Parent
I allmost buy everything second hand, no bad experiences yet. You just need to find the right people and make sure you can trust them. I even had people doing the warranty for me after several years when i bought it from them.

Even new stuff, my 1055T and GTX 460 are second hand.
