HT Desire HD / iPhone3GS16GB

Hi,

I have both the above mentioned phones, personally I prefer the iPhone for usability.

I've read & heard people saying the HTC Desire rivals the iPhone4, my opinion is; it doesn't. I think its a load of bollocks. Plus I have to set up my mail etc AGAIN.


So.....


What are your thoughts? Which phone would you prefer?

Iphone is apple fanboy shit, the new Iphone4 apperantly has alot bugs and issues, it even exploded (shattered more like) at -10 degrees in norway.

I'd personally prefer an android phone thus the HTC Desire HD.

might be because they already fixed most of the problems (the post is from july last year)
but i havent had any problems with the "death grip" and i cannot imagine how you could destroy the glass like that :D neither have i noticed this camera thing nor the thing with the volume buttons..but gonna keep my eyes wide open from now on :D

yeah man, i don't really get this whole touch screen/7000 different applications thing, all i need my phone for is calling, texting and listening to music...

idd. but I also have an Ipod Touch to play games/music etc ;). I do think an Iphone is quite amazing but I'm just not willing to pay 750€ for 32GB.. Now I have ipod touch 32GB (I payed smth around 280€) + phone (70€)= 350€.. Ofcourse I can't do the 3G stuff and all but I almost never would use that anyway and paying 400€ more for that is quite insane.

Had iphone 3g , used the iphone 4 for some time, bought the htc desire hd a month ago.

Desire hd > iphone in pretty much everything.

Faster,cheaper, better os, looks better, bigger screen (i enjoy this alot..some say its too big..i just love the size..the iphone feels like a toy compared to it) and much much more..

Only con so far: my iphone 3g was louder when playing music without headphones. The iphone 4 wasnt. But np for me as i qlways listen music with headphones anyway.

And dont fall for the low battery shit..i am in the hospital and play the whole day with the phone. During the night i have to recharge.

I agree with you, although the Desire HD is a sick phone I just prefer my iPhone4. For usability, looks and just because I'm used to it I guess.
