QPADCT4mm

first i had a razor mantis control, it was quite nice
my 2nd pad was the sharkoon 1337 gaming mat
now: qpad ct

i was like woooow i didnt expect that a mousepad could be that bad.
this pad is fucking ridiculous, it just sucks!
Dont ever buy it rly
any surface is better than this pad.
short distance: ur happy for every single headshot
long distance: just impossible to get a fucking hit
furthermore the edges of this pad are very rough, so it scratches on ur wrist the whole time.
+ 4mm is too thick, but i didnt know that when i ordered it

i think i have to use the sharkoon again, though its kinda worn in the middle...

Buy a Puretrak Talent.
can u tell me whats the surface like?
is it smooth like the sharkoons surface or kinda hard like the qpads?

It's a cloth pad. Before the Puretrak I used an Everglide Titan which is pretty much the same surface as the Razer Mantis Speed (which I think is a little different from the Control version). It's basically the next step from an Everglide, in my opinion. It's definitely a lot better than the QPAD CT which I used back in't day (which died after like 2 months). :D

thanks for the reply, i think the mantis speed pad is a bit faster than the control pad but i never had the chance to try gaming on it
im about to order the puretrak talent now
but i think puretrak.com hates germans :p
anyways ill find a way to order it!
Parent
Yeah it's easier for some countries to get than others. But you (probably!) won't regret it. :D If you can't get around to ordering it though, I recommend an Everglide Titan/mantis speed. They're easier and cheaper to get I think.

ebay: 20€ need paypal though :(
puretrak.com: 30€

I didn't have any problems ordering directly from their site. Even found a nice discount code back then on gotfrag forums. It took a while for the arrival though, ~ 3-4 weeks?
Parent
with shipping it will cost around 30€.
i just bought the qpad for 35€ by amazon
i like the simple "lastschrift" by amazon, i think i have to get a paypal acc to order the puretrak talent, takes time + is more complicated.
besides 3-4 weeks sounds bad :(
thanks for the information anyway
Parent
I think they have some guest tryouts at paypal now. Atleast my father managed to buy something on ebay without having an actual account. You can easily pay by "Lastschrift" with paypal :-)
Parent
too late, ive already registered there now.
if ur right and the shipment will take up to 4 weeks than i can wait till the registration is complete too!
i think owning a paypal acc is no mistake as well...

Ordered it today :D

Need perfo.cfg

Profile you silly bugger.

I love the way you patronize me x

No discount code from scarzy, ungood.

I liked my Qpad CT, not as good as the original series, but it does wear away quickly which was my main qualm.
This, but I just use mine for desktopping now. Still love the QcK heavy, except for it being ridiculously large.
Parent
i only played some public and one match with the qpad and i just dont get along with it.
im just used to cloth pads, i like the smooth movement i have with them!
i think ill give it a second chance and play with it a couple of days.
but i dont think that it will get the chance to wear away :p

plz tell me wheres the connection between mousepad and hitting hs ingame? its rather about ur coordination - which u obviously dont have.

also the pd is nice had a 44mm once... only thing that is rly weird its getting used off pretty fast, but beisides that its a good pad.
How can it be a good pad, if it fails in one of the most (if not most) important category! For me durability/consistency is just as important as the surface itself.

And unfortunately only 3 pads so far have qualified for that:

1) Icemat (6 years+)
2) Everglide Titan (2 years+)
3) Puretrak Talent (using it for 1,5 years now and it's still the same)
Parent
i used the pad for ~2 years, which is decent in my opinion its getting used pretty far to a level where acceleration is like 90% of a new one, but then it stays at that level.. i would have used it even longer if my mouse werent without any glides - i played on the plastic feet, which were destryoing the pad really fast than.

before this i used a plastic speed pad, which i thought wont worn out, but after 3 years the middle of it was nearly a plain surface. combined with this experiance i think its ok to rate a cloth pad as decent.

i'v my qpad ct 4mm for 4 years now, im using it like hell and still i feel great on it , the boy that wrote this topic just dont fit with it, end :(

revoltec lightpad, since 7 years :D
qpad ct is pretty good but the durability is kind of a joke. I've had like 7 pads in 2 years. Got enough of them and changed
