It was a fantastic film that moved away from the stupidity of Die Another Day. The plot moved more towards thriller than plain action adventure and they cut down on unneccessary gadgets. To say that Bond evolved as a film would be spot on, and with it, it was quite a session some 2+ hours, but it had alot to put in.Daniel Craig was brilliant.


Really good film, recommend seeing it.

everybody was saying that about roger moore and pierce brosnan when they started. hope craig will be the same way :p

I liked the film in general but they had to sacrifice some of the suave coolness to make way for the more serious take on the franchise. I think I marginally prefer it to the 'old style' bonds, but with all the nostalgia it's a close run thing.

Very good movie, nonetheless.

Indeed - Goldeneye rocked, and parts of Tomorrow Never Dies were (imho) pretty good, but the others...

Brosnan was pretty darn good imo. My favourite Bond, anyway. Connery was ok as Bond, but his acting wasn't great. Daniel Craig seems pretty solid tbh - I think he could do well with the role.

I consider the Bond movies rather as a good comedy, than an action movie. I wonder when the bullets will go straight through walls.
