Razer Diamondback anyone?

Who here still owns a Razer Diamondback (not the 3G) or -even better- recently bought one? I've been looking everywhere but they're nowhere to be found.

And I'm really looking for the older Diamondback, not the newer 3G version.

this one? think its discontinued

e: i had a diamondback plasma but my brother has stolen it :D
Like any good Razer Mouse discontinued and reinvented into something terrible.
Parent
I have 4, all still in original packaging :)
You think I'm joking :p
Parent
Well I sure hope you're not, but it's pretty likely you're just trolling.

Pics?
Parent
Erm, can't really take one now because they're at home and I'm at uni.

But it's somewhere at the back in here

why u got so much mice ? 0o
Parent
A friend of mine works at play.com

Most of the stuff in there was free, except for motherboard, subwoofer etc.
Parent
send me some mousepad :p?
Parent
send me some , i can pay delivery.
Parent
how much for the ikari
Parent
I'd give it you for free (+packaging) if I was at home, but I'm at uni atm.
Parent
you kidding? I had to buy all my stuff :P

have more than that on the profile pic btw.

bought i.e. krait recently
Parent
You tried it yet?
Parent
yeah, out of krait, diamondback and copperhead I prefer krait the most, than the copperhead and the diamondback at the end. it's really nice, but I am yet unsure whether it will become my main mouse.
Parent
best mouse i had :<
that's the best mouse ever but can't get it from anywhere. Razer salmosa is my pick after this one
It's nice, but I prefer the Krait because of the shape and the fact the sensor doesn't jitter.

No prediction is nice though.
Parent
salmosa ! = abyssus
Parent
Oops I read wrong.
Parent
there are some Abyssus that don't jitter btw

other than that Salmosa is more reliable because no Salmosa jitters ^^

shape is quite equal

if you come across a working Abyssus, than it's just matter of preference: dc vs. ndc

There are currently 3 on eBay.de. Maybe you know some friendly German who could get it for you :-)
They all look pretty worn out :(
Parent

(no actual photo but he states it is in very good condition)

don't look bad
Parent
First one looks pretty worn out, and the plasma one doesn't really have decent pics.

Know any other way where I could get my hands on a diamondback?
Parent
very good mouse.used to have one but had some wires problems so i changed it for a 3g version
after 4 years , mine is still working,:)
just get the 3G, its why i am so highskill
i am using my 2nd db for a half year now, my first diamondback didnt die but i sold to a friend because he was in need of one
they were both excellent status when I bought them (Bought the first one is 2008 for 15€) and this one I am using now costed 10€ (both from 2nd hand)
Can you explain to me how a human being can grip this mouse? There's no place to grip it with pinky+ring finger!
not every weights over 100kg and has super fat hands
Parent
Show me how you grip it, I want to see.
Parent
I first used a mx510. Then I bought a copperhead, I think it's kinda the same size as a diamondback? It's idd quite a small mouse but it played really wel tbh, you just need to take your time to adjust. I know have a mx518. In the first days it feels like switching to the other mosue feels shit and the mouse is pure shit but after 3days it feels great. You just need some time to adjust, if you have a good sensor you'll be able to track as good as before tbh
Parent
the copperhead is a little bit bigger than the diamondback

razer released three very similar mice: krait, diamondback, copperhead (sorted in terms of size starting with the smallest)
Parent
People grip using their fingertips. A smaller mouse allows one to do this more easily.

For example a pencil isn't a very ergonomic piece of equipment but it is used for precision.

My ring and pinky finger push against the side of the mouse, rather than rest on the mouse itself.
Parent
I grip with fingertips too, but show me on a picture, where you place your pinky + ring finger(or just pinky if you so prefer). If you use those "notches" then I don't understand how people don't get instant RSI playing with it. It's the most awful shape ever imo. It's a weird rant, but I just never understood people who can use their mouse while holding it so awkwardly and still aim well, and not have hand strain. XyLoS uses it, and it's just strange to look at.
Parent
The bottom of the mouse is shaped as below
______
\_____/

My ring finger rests on the rubber rail at the side, while my pinky pushes against the middle of the mouse where it slopes. Due to the angle of the side, it actually makes it very easy to grip.

Similar to this

image: clawgrip-illus02

but my hand is further forward up the mouse.
Parent
Everyone with a claw grip should easily be able to use this mouse tbh. And like any other mouse it takes some time to adjust.
Parent
I like the diamondback the least out of copperhead, krait and finally diamondback and I do use claw grip - it just feels uncomfy due to the side buttons : /
