I have one and use it, but before this, never really had a gaming mouse so don't know the difference. :P
doesn't feel different then with my casual mouse
Parent
there is always diff with sensor
obviously xai has better sensor than casual mouse :D + better glides

if i will have time, im going to do modded G5 with wmo 1.1a sensor, since i fucking loved shape of G5 <3 i may do tutorial, but only when i will get time ;) need also to read other reviews of mods (not g5 ones obviously) to get kinda experience, how to prepare etc
Parent
lol modding mice nerd! :D
Parent

you should ask on ESR, there 80% of ppl dont have any knowledge about gaming gear
there 80% of ppl dont have any knowledge about gaming gear

next time, look for info before buying
to be honest, opinions/reviews arent worthy to read unless they include graphs with accel shit and stuff ;)
best thing is test by yourself, you can always sell it on ebay but ye, u will always lose a few euro, but u do everything to get best comfort :)

most ppl say its a cool mouse despite small positive acceleration
I have the Kinzu nearly the same but obviously not exactly the same, I like the Kinzu alot. Definitely easier to hold than my MX518 (purely because of the materials used lol)
the shape of the kinzu (also the weight) is gorgeous, but other than that the sensor used in it is one of the worst, if not actually the worst, ever used in a gaming mouse.
Parent
why the fuck are u wasting money on something u dont know anything about

rich people is starting to anoy me, all should be murdered for being retarded
I have no idea how good the sensor actually performs. But considering that some top notch CS players are/were using it, it can't be too bad. The Kinzu, which is basically a cheaper, optical and smaller version of the Xai, unfortunately suffers from quite some positive acceleration.

However in opinion, the Xai got one of the best (if not the best) shape on the market. Only if you prefer a symmetrical mouse of course.
hah that's not the actual problem with the kinzu, far worse, it has the shittiest implementation of angle snapping ever, the sensor attempts to draw straight lines with any movement : P

e: xai uses the avago adns-9500 (used also on the g500 and g9x, but each use different sroms, so that they don't perform the same). superb sensor in terms of perfect control (beats any optical) and you can turn drift control on/off at will, but it is quite a bit too sensitive for cloth mousepads - should be used with hard ones. also, it has some little positive acceleration (far less than kinzu).

Its the best mouse i have ever used. Been using it for about a year now and seen an improvement in my aim. Much better than the deathadder.
with what mousepad?
Parent
zowie G-TF (amazing pad tbh) - works great with this cloth pad, although im awaiting my steelseries 4hd from 2 CB EC's ago where we finished joint 1st (eVo has it) to try it, as this pad was made for the xai
Parent
can only confirm that the zowie g-tf is a very good pad

about the 4hd: it's a bit small, interestingly though, the 9hd being only 10% bigger is (nearly) twice as expensive! (20 euro vs. 35 euro - hella difference)

Ive been using it for about a year, and I've improved alot aimwise. Its a great mouse but it's very sensitive to dust on the mousepad/infront of the laser so be sure to keep those to surfaces clean;) works best with QcK+ pad(to my experience, used it with glasspads and on roccat rubber pads)

The profiles are great for lans, used the mouse at AEF,quickest to setup at every game and gives you more time to prepare for the actual game itself!

great overal, just think about the dust :)

e: ive used deathadder, logitech gaming mice aswell. I loved the deathadder feeling but I found it to heavy(weight of the mouse and COG) and then I got the Xai and it feels similar to a deathadder but the COG and weight are waaaaay better which gives you quicker movement.
it doesn't work really well with any cloth mousepads tbh

to the op: you should use the mouse with a hardpad

Kinzu is better, but it's okay mouse I guess. Had it for short time tho. :)
