I just downloaded beta and I have to say I am impressed.
good download manager
nice and minimal ui design
hardware accelerated and responsive (best gpu acceleration atm)
excellent font and curved box aliasing (best out of any atm)
addon architecture
finally very good standards compliance
highlight text and immediately search it on google etc
And for developers you can still simulate IE8 rendering with a meta keyword.
Thoughts?

check the bottom of the page.. ie9 supports a lot more, but still firefox and chrome do more..
Still good that they took a leap forward(as u can see on the rest of that page) in terms of css support.
Too bad there is still no support for text-shadow, I use it a lot with my websites, gives just a touch more readability to my fonts.
webkit and gecko still support more in html5 then trident.
So I'd still go for chrome firefox or safari in terms of webbrowsing.
And also because I use Dreamweaver CS4 which works with webkit so for me it is what you see is what u get in CS4 and chrome.
also this:

again most of these games only have support from chrome and safari
so to be on the edge of innovation in terms of browsers i'd still not go for IE in any case :P
