After having a small chat with 
Twizzt and ironic a week ago about using a sunbed, it has come to my attention that other european countries might have a better tolerance level socially than the UK.
Twizzt and Ironic both have them in their houses, how common is this for you, do any of your households have them in? And what are the views socially on it? In the UK it is seen as a homo-sexual activity and there is 'banter' about it if you do use one.
For me? I'm going to use it for the first time on friday, my house hold doesn't have one; and it is seen, as mentioned before, as a thing for females.
As per, I will give you a song.

i went with a tent on the top of our higest mountain like 1.445m high and its winter and it was really windy our tent crashed, i was with a friend he was freezing, i wasnt cold tho:D it was like 0 i guess XD
So basically the English are more manly than other Europeans (apart from the Polish maybe) :D

Its when someone does something actualy embaressing that the entire 'banter' all falls on them. Then its not banter its just pure abuse on that person.
The quick witted kids at school are so funny. Better than any comedy i watch on TV or in a movie. Literaly have u crying with laughter inside and out the classroom all day.
Even the teachers are laughing constantly. These guys just dont give a fuck, say what they want and when lol then when they get to 16 they all leave school. 6th form or college however u call it 16-18 is a completely different world.
average/bad UK schools are a harsh place but fucking funny.
And your views on the electric beach?
All the higher set classes have none of the idiots in. Its quiet, everyone does their work and gets on. You know all this.
Its all kicking off in the lower sets, thats where all the banter happens. At school people deliberately do bad in like year 9 to get into lower sets to get involved in the social banter and get their status up in school.
Teacher: dan have you done your homework?
Dan: no my dog ate it
Luke: your fucking mum ate it
Some lessons you look forward to, some are boring as fuck. its the lower sets where all the banter is in lesson times. Higher sets the teachers are stricter and dont allow it.
Teachers in the lower sets simply cannot control the students. I feel so sorry for them. The angrier they get in class the more they get the piss taken out of them. was so funny.
as for the tanning thing. Ive never met 1 male from england whose ever used a sunbed while at school. At uni its a different world, feels like im not in the UK. no abuse and everyone is accepted. just like a reset button life. noone knows u when u go there.
Or those hybrid chavvyish guys with checkedshirts on loving life. I haven't worn one of my checked shirts out for so long, and one of them was really expensive :(

im always around with dark jeans and some simple t-shirt.
Makes me look fresh though, feels good man.
E: Im always rocking t shirts, got my hacienda one on right now! 15 year old tshirt and still so classic.
I love to wear my peacoat though, was posted in my shoe journal if you can be arsed, that any my campers is todays choice, buying some shoes to go with skinnies for spring next week though I suppose!
ahaha i pull peacoat aswell everyday, wear it on my t-shirt cuz with a t-shirt only it gets cold:D
2 people i knew at my school tried to kill themselves. both got talked out of it after a while. They got bullied alot less aswell from then on etc as people knew they could kill him through bullying.
he reminded me of eric cartman so much. i giggle when i see him irl, we are cool anyhow now tho.
like kidulthood that girl constantly being bullied by the chavs. People realy did verbally abuse u like that, however people never actualy realy hit u, it stayed verbal.
But if you then abuse them back while they abuse u. thats ur biggest mistake because they will start on you. Noone ever fights a chav because u fight him now, for the rest of your school life they will all abuse the fuck out of u everyday. First rule is you dont fight or abuse a chav, banter is always acceptable on whoever because its just funny. abuse is a different set of rules.
through my 7 years at school i reckon thers 1 fight every 2 months in the school somewhere. ive probably seen at least 20 fights at school. word travels faster than the inet at school, 1500 people run from all ends of the school to see it.
we were like 2 populars, that guy who talked shit to me and then my group i kinda was liek the popular on that other group, so there was noway that the guy could go further than simple teassing. our class was kinda splitted.
obviously we were like 13 years old now i dont mix with any of those guys not even old friends. on highschool i had plently of friends but i dont consider em friends, i got em as some ppl i know who is okay to be with sometimes but we dont hang much. i hang with other people.
In game mixing with all UK people is so much fun compared to europeans. because everyone talks all the time and has fun and constantly abuses each other. its how its done in the UK. sarcasm and abuse = society at a young age.

In my school banter was the normal form of communication. I never have a normal conversation at school. It always ends in some form of banter. The social pressure not to use a sunbed or do anything remotely different was astronomical, if u did u WILL be abused for it heavily. Fly under the radar if you dont want the piss taken out of you. IF you join in you have to maintain banter all day because it will be coming at you. Stay out of the way of banter and you find it easier to stay away from.
However thats easier said than done.

Thats literaley some conversations that happen at school in the corridors if you say that to a chav or a 'cool guy'. Its a warzone at school lol.
You abuse and take the piss out of your friends for every reason all day everyday. this is UK comedy. the complete opposite to the US. U come to a UK school you would hate it, youd get constantly abused, constantly flamed. if they found out u use fake tan, although the girls will definately like that your good looking. the guys will rip you apart.
in the movies and tv shows where people are from north carolina,west virginia, all these mullet states, redneck states, hillbilly states were bad. in real life when top gear went to north carolina. God dam the accent is terrible. u sound like ur about as clever as a fence there.
american idol that girl from north carolina. i couldnt watch that, the accent is like torture. and that 16 year old from north carolina, sweet jesus he sounds wierd :DD

Scarzy I think you're pushing the boundaries of heterosexuality, but rather a sun bed then a fake tan, so I say go for it and rock it.
tbh, England is like one of the biggest fake tan countries I know. When I look at facebook via english friends, i see orange girls and guys all over the place
