Someone has any idea why my pc says it has 4GB when it should be 6GB?

grtz

edit: just to make sure, in the past it said 6GB ;-)

but yeah I'll probably open up my pc and check if they are "clicked" in :). I'm not that noobish to not be able to do that :p

but it's still weird cause my pc has never been moved

I got that once with my videocard and I was like WTF?! because I hadn't touched my pc :<

not many motherboards support Tri-Channel RAM .. So the 4gb ram might be as efficient/fast as the 6gb until u get 8gb :P

first thing is check theyre properly inserted into the mobo with clips down - if it said 6gb before they should be in the right channels at least

second thing to use a slightly more powerful software to check your hardware :D maybe speccy can help you identify which dimm isnt being detected there
nigger stole you 2GB of RAM !

sherlock is here for you
You sure your motherboard can handle more then 4gb?

Edit, saw the edit :D:D:D:D Well, it can be broken ofc, try putting them all in a different order.
also, download Everest to see if that program detects it :)
