So, my old Razer Tarantula, for which I paid a lot of money, is getting quite worn out as any plastic-pad piece of shit ought to after about 4 years of daily use.
I figured I need a new keyboard. A *good* keyboard, of course - not saying this isn't, but the typing 'touch' has just been horribly bad for the past two or so years because of the plastic pads getting worn out. Here's what I'm looking for:
- Mechanical switches
- PS/2 connected
- N-key rollover / "anti-ghosting" that allows me to press more than three keys at a time
- No 100e keyboards, really. That's just ridicilous.
It must have all of those things (well, the money thing is a little exception) - so none of that Logitech G-spot stuff, thanks.
I've been looking at this SteelSeries 6Gv2 thing, which has all of my criteria filled, but it never hurts to ask for the community's opinion.

Maybe try second hand on ebay, take what you can get.
its cheap + works good for around 5 years or so already
it's still: EPIC!
Will have a look tomorrow :D
I removed the other picture because imageshack automatically resized the pic to 800x600
my gaming place has become so much better than it once was :)
this is not the oldest pic of my place, but unfortunately the oldest that survived until today

60 euros there..
I saw the prize of it in some german market was 55 euros.
Unluckily.. this was 1 Month after i bought it (no comment)
It is quite good i would say.
Anyway that SteelSeries 6Gv2 looks also great.. matter of preference - but yeah, the G15 has more features.
Angry German kid should fear the Steel Series 6Gv2 ":D"
the features of the g15 are for pseudo gamers really, nobody needs those g-buttons (never used them when during those 4 years I was playing with it and its still lying in my cupboard)
I guess I'm settling for the 6Gv2 becuzz awesome and it costs "only" 80e.
That's mine:
