I am in need of some Movies and or TV series to watch. Prefer something from this millenium. I've been following Spartacus and Walking Dead but now I'm waiting for more episodes...

Oh and what did you think about the newest Robin Hood movie?!?!? I watched first 10min and then I had to egoquit, it was crap :D

it's by far the most "realistic" series i've watched, which makes it even better, realistic as in not so hollywood-ish

What exactly is V about? I'm currently following Californication, HIMYM and Archer, additionally watching The Daily Show and Colbert Report. If I choose to watch yet another series attentively, it has to be exceptionally good.

Since I haven't watched that either I was hoping for a more elaborate synopsis as I'm sporting a download right now and my internet is unbearably slow at the moment making visiting imdb a real sore.

Alien life forms visit earth, having giant motherships hovering over every large capital in the world.
They show good intentions, speak our language, have technology way beyond ours.
They share their technology with us, building highly advanced healing centre's that are helping out people that we cannot help ourselves (curing cancer and other miracles).

It follows a (female) police agent who is part of a small rebellion group to fight them off, they might not know their true intentions, but they know they are evil.

It has a pretty decent story line that gets in depth on most characters. Oh and Laura Vandervoort plays in it, which is also a plus :)

I only liked the first action part when they sack the castle, from there its just downhill! If I am really really bored then I will finish it.

Big Bang Theory.

btw new prequel of Spartacus is out in the US, with a bit of good search you can see the first two episodes of 'Gods of the Arena' on stream.

I already DL and watched the two first episodes, waiting for more!!! I think they come out every Friday...

Apparently they only made the prequal because the guy playing spartacus is ill with cancer or something so they have to wait for him to recover before continuing shooting.

Yup Andy Whitfield has some nasty disease -need to look up but, something with Hodgekins in it. So they made the prequal.
I must say, that Gannicus is one arrogant dude, but he certainly knows how to swing his weapons ^_^

I don't like Gannicus whatsoever. Oenemaus is pretty cool, but I wish we could have seen him in the prequal before he got his scars from the fight against "The Shadow". Funny to see also how much Crixus resembled Spartacus when he started the gladiator school.
