brink :D:D
i got an Acer Aspire 5745G with intel i5 2.26Ghz and Nvidia GT310M

personally i think theres better GPU's available especially considering that this was £600 but its pretty damn nice

when i was searching laptops i found ASUS, Dell and Samsung offered some good models
yea i checked that acer out, but i can only find it with i7, which is like 200e more. And I think i5 is good enough

yeh i got mine with an i5 coz it was refurbished (has 2 broken keys which means i need a new keyboard for £30 but i saved £100+ by getting it this way).

Sit tight for a few months for the re-released sandybridge, buying a new laptop now is a mistake
huh? what do u mean
Parent
new processor line from intel as far as I can see
will drop the prices of older processors or will get faster processor for the same money
Parent
sandybridge is the architecture for 2011 Intel processors, they were released in January but they've just been recalled worldwide due to bugs. Come April/May there will be huge discounts to 're-push sandybridge' - right now retailers won't be pushing good prices on laptops as they've low supply because what they bought for 2011 Q1 is being recalled meaning they're still pushing old stock - which they've limited supply of.

Make any sense?

ah oke i see, on the other hand i need it fast cause ill be pc-less the coming months then and I need it for work :(
Parent
Well 900 euro will get you something you can game on if you're interested

Check MSI laptops. Bought one in august with i3 , nvidia g310 and 4gb ram etc. Works wonders :):). And i dont even have the "gaming" version of it.

And they arent so expensive.
