Anybody know how to make a PDF document?

well, I wanted you to give the precise number in proper units - hopefully in a wrong way, like "mb/s", etc, so that you could understand that "shift is not always your friend" :d

Easy. If you want to save a text file as a pdf, get PDFcreator.

If you want to create one, download "Scribus". It also allows you to make 'writeable' fields.
